Pamela Wedgwood (* 1947) ist eine englische Komponistin.

Leben

Nach ihrem Abschluss begann sie eine Karriere als professionelle Hornistin und arbeitete mit dem Royal Ballet Touring Orchestra, der Royal Opera, dem BBC Concert Orchestra und vielen West End Shows. Heirat und eine junge Familie veranlassten sie in den späten 1970er Jahren, eine Stelle als umherziehende Instrumentalmusiklehrerin in Surrey anzunehmen, und sie begann, Stücke für ihre Schüler zu komponieren.

After graduating she began a career as a professional French Horn player, working with the Royal Ballet Touring Orchestra, The Royal Opera, the BBC Concert Orchestra and many West End shows. Marriage and a young family led her to take up an appointment as a peripatetic instrumental music teacher in Surrey in the late 1970s, and she began composing pieces for her pupils.
