Oratorium

Oratorio (church Latin oratorium “house of prayer”, from Latin orare “to pray”) is the term used in musical form theory to describe the dramatic, multi - part setting of a mostly sacred action, involving several people, choir and orchestra. It is a narrative - dramatic composition (i.e. interspersed with plot elements).
